COMMISSIONING

After installing the engine and the main components, the technicians will perform testing and commissioning in order to ensure its safety and the design requirements are met. “Testing” is simply the act of testing while “commissioning” is a series of testing to ensure that the main equipment, systems and components are designed and installed in accordance with the customer’s operating requirements. Through their expertise and experience, technicians will carefully adjust the equipment, systems and components. After ensuring that everything is running smoothly and safely, the vessel will then be delivered to the customer.

Whether it is a new yacht arriving in port or a completion of a new engine installation, Grandtech International will check the engine function which includes sea trials, and to ensure that the engine performance meets the standard before delivering it to the customer. In addition, Grandtech International will register the new engine in VOLVO PENTA system for customers, and the free warranty period will begin immediately.
