Leader in Water Purification
French Eaux is a subsidiary of the Domeau Group, established in 1991, and is a leading expert in water purification for individuals, communities, and industrial applications. The Domeau Group has designed the most moderned wastewater treatment plants in the Indian Ocean, including projects for prestigious clients such as Coca-Cola. Their products and services are also utilized by luxury restaurant and hotel chains like Accor. On the residential side, French Eaux’s offerings are already benefiting over 30,000 households with access to purified water.

Having a continuous supply of fresh drinking water on board a boat is a priority for every owner. The regular refilling of bottled water is a hussle; the storage of plastic bottles not only takes up space but also has harmful environmental consequences, and the weight of bottled water is also a disadvantage while sailing. French Eaux becomes the solution.

We offer an innovative and efficient solution: ultra-purified water produced through compact, electricity-free reverse osmosis systems. This system directly treats the water from the boat’s tanks, providing pure water at the tap. By incorporating French Eaux’s specially designed fountains for boating, customers can enjoy unlimited fresh, hot, or sparkling water on board. With our solution, you can have impeccable quality water all year round while reducing plastic consumption and preserving the environment.

French Eaux has obtained the prestigious NSF IAPMO certificate in Water Conditioners (Reverse Osmosis) category, which validates their water conditioning products’ quality and performance. The International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is a community of experts based in the United States that plays a vital public health role in assuring access to clean water and sanitation. This certification ensures that French Eaux’s products meet international standards and have successfully undergone rigorous testing and evaluation.

French Eaux’s products have met the stringent requirements of the NSF/ANSI 58 standard, which is the American National Standard for point-of-use (POU) reverse osmosis (RO) systems. This achievement was made possible through rigorous testing and evaluation conducted by a joint committee comprising regulators, manufacturers, and end users. The NSF/ANSI 58 standard encompasses comprehensive requirements that cover various aspects of these systems, including:
- Safety of materials in contact with drinking water
- Structural integrity
- TDS (total dissolved solids) reduction performance
- Efficiency rating
- Recovery rating
- Contaminant reduction performance
- Information for the end users

Comparing the filtration capabilities of French Eaux’s reverse osmosis systems to conventional filtration methods, the differences are significant.
REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO) FILTRATION
Conventional filtration, although effective to some extent, is limited to the removal of micro-particulates such as sand, hair, pollen, coal dust, giardia cysts, and yeast cells. However, it falls short in filtering out all bacteria, making the water still potentially toxic.
On the other hand, French Eaux’s reverse osmosis technology can filter particles down to an impressive 0.0001 micron, ensuring the removal of bacteria, colloids, herbicides, pesticides, viruses, charcoal, dissolved salts, and other contaminants. The comprehensive filtration provided by French Eaux’s reverse osmosis systems guarantees that the water is purified to an exceptionally high standard, offering a safe and clean drinking water solution for consumers.

Offers comprehensive filtration solutions that far surpass conventional filtration methods.
Achieves optimal water quality with a mineral content ranging from 60 to 80 mg/liter.
Conventional filtration, using wound sediment and sieve sediment filters, may still leave the water highly toxic with a mineral content level exceeding 720 mg/liter. A step up from this is microfiltration, which provides average water quality with a mineral content of less than 200 mg/liter, typically using polypropylene filters. The subsequent stages of ultrafiltration and nanofiltration further improve water quality, bringing the mineral content below 120 mg/liter using semipermeable membranes and granular activated carbon (GAC) filters.
However, French Eaux goes even further by employing reverse osmosis (RO) technology, which achieves optimal water quality with a mineral content ranging from 60 to 80 mg/liter. This is accomplished through the use of RO membrane filters with micron-sized pores that effectively remove contaminants while preserving important healthy minerals. French Eaux’s RO filtration solutions provide customers with exceptional water quality, significantly reducing mineral content and ensuring the delivery of safe, clean, and refreshing drinking water.
